Zen Sesshin — 5-Day Silent Retreat
Kyoto, Japan5 daysMax 124.8(144 reviews)
About this retreat
A sesshin is not a wellness retreat. It's an intensive Zen retreat — long hours of zazen, minimal sleep, minimal speech, and a teacher you meet with one-on-one each day.
What makes this particular sesshin unusual is the setting: a working temple complex that has been practising Zen since 1614. The monks still live here. You'll practise alongside them.
This is for people who have experience with meditation and want to go somewhere they've never been before. Not recommended for absolute beginners.
